Mission Statement - Activities
The Chamber’s Mission Statement, “To serve as the catalyst for the advancement of commerce, culture and the community” is more than just words. It is our road map to what we do, and the measure of our success.
The Chamber has many activities, programs, and events that make up the successful work of our committees, task forces, and volunteers. Whether it is our Education Committee’s 21st Century Business project for all 8th grade students, their new Maverick Challenge high school entrepreneurship competition, our Community Relations Committee’s bi-weekly One Chamber Square networking picnics or their bi-annual Women’s Conference, our Agri-Business Committee’s annual Industry-Ag Tour, our Business Resources Task Force’s Lunch and Learns, our Marketing Task Force’s work on the annual Tri-County Business-to-Business Expo, or our award winning Recycling Committee’s Earth Day celebration or their grade school environmental contest, all of our committees and task forces are focused on the support and growth of our members and our community.
